Ripley's Believe It or Not Wheelchair Access

While at Surfers paradise we decided to visit the weird and the wacky Ripley’s believe it or not on the Gold Coast.

The main entrance to Ripley’s believe it or not in not wheelchair accessible., so we needed to use another entrance. A staff member escorted us through to the accessible entrance. The wheelchair accessible entrance bought us to the middle of the attraction so we had to loop back around to see the other half of the attraction. That was not a problem and gave us an excuse to go past the displays for a second look. The attraction isn’t overly big but there is still a lot of weird and wacky things to see. The attraction is wheelchair accessible once inside and I was able to move around with out to much difficulty in my small electric wheelchair.

On the way out we had to make our way back to the middle of the attraction to find the accessible way through the hidden door. We had to remember where our door was, and took note which display it was next too. We didn’t have any difficulty remembering our way out of the attraction.

I enjoyed my visit to Ripley’s believe it or not on the Gold Coast and would recommend to check it out if you have a spare hour or so free while on Surfers Paradise.

In my opinion I give Ripley’s believe it or not on the Gold Coast a rating of 4 for wheelchair accessibility, and a 4 star rating for overall experience.
