Port Arthur Lavender Farm
Visiting Port Arthur Lavender Farm
Wheelchair Accessible Review
The Lavender farm houses a beautiful cafe/bistro that over looks the lavender fields and also has a little gift shop section next to the cafe. The gift shop sells a variety of merchandise from lavender products made right there on the property to other locally sourced items made from local businesses. The Port Arthur Lavender farm is step free making the cafe and gift shop areas fully wheelchair accessible, and has a disabled toilet located near the cafe.
The cafe menu is full of lavender flavored foods, including lavender ice cream, scones with lavender cream, and other lavender flavored deserts. The food was amazing. Having the lavender infused oils made a taste I have never tried before. It was certainly different, but different in a yummy way! The staff were all friendly, and we had no trouble finding a suitable table.

If you are going past the Lavender Farm, I highly recommend you pop in and pay it a visit for a hit of locally grown Tasmania lavender infused food and goodies. The Lavender Farm also offer over night accommodation. I am not sure if the accommodation is wheelchair accessible. so best to contact the Lavender Farm directly if you are interested in this option to ensure they can cater for your needs
In my opinion I give the Port Arthur Lavender Farm 4.5 rating for wheelchair access, and 4.5 stars for overall service.
